Our very own veteran disturbed_crew has earned his wings and will be promoted to full DM. Please take some time to congratulate him and shower the new god with sacrifices. Show him the same respect you would show any of our DMs as I personally will be showing him how to smite with a smile.

Needing a Helping Hand

"The WOZ community has become a second home for a lot of us. On the WOZ forums, you can visit with friends and forget about life for a while. I enjoy the friendships I've developed over the years with my fellow WOZZERs and some of you I consider to be close personal friends (you know who you are). While the forum has been a free service for many years... somebody still has to pay for it.
By the shear generosity of our host, Drakken, we have been afforded the opportunity to gather together for many years to talk and play. Every dime used to pay for WOZ equipment, upgrades, repairs, URL registry and forum hosting has come out of Drakken's pocket. However, hard times are visiting and WOZ needs your help.
You may have noticed a new button below the main menu on the left side of your browser labeled "Donations". This nifty little feature gives you the ability to help keep the WOZ forums alive and thriving.
The DM's and several of our long-time veterans are already chipping in some cash to help pay for this year's server hosting costs for the WOZ Forums, but that will only get us part way.
If everyone who reads this gives just a few dollars via the Donation button, we will be able to keep the WOZ forums from shutting down and continue supporting this wonderful community. We know times are hard for a lot of you, so all we ask is you consider donating whatever you can as a small "Thank You" so we all can keep on having fun together.

Things have been quite busy around the old WOZ farm. The chickens are still pecking for food, the badgers are as nasty as ever, and we even got us a few horses. Fancy that!
Morvis, Chera and I are still hard at work on the Return To Ascension (RTA) module. We are attempting to find a suitable test server so we can begin the process of beta testing. There is still some work to do, but in the end we know you will enjoy it. Keep the faith. Aside from RTA, we have some great news.
We have a new hired hand, now. The newest member of the WOZ staff is well-known by much of the community and quite frankly I have no idea why this didn't happen sooner. It is my great pleasure to announce that Narscheska has accepted our offer to join our staff as a DM.
She is a veteran of WOZ and will serve well in her new role. Like the rest of us, she is here to assist players and to keep the peace.
When you see her online - give her a warm WOZ hello (and ask her for free stuff - she likes it when you do that... uhh, maybe not).

Wrath of Zero - Still pushing forward

"Greetings everyone!
It has been awhile since I have posted on the front page, but I wanted everyone to know we are still very active and still making changes. Path of Ascension has been our main flavor for NeverWinter Nights modules, and we are still supporting it. In fact we have recently done a major overhaul on the module. Many thanks go out to Robin Hood, Plaidfro, Morvis and the whole team for testing this module to get off the ground.
Return to Ascension is still being produced and we hope to have it out shortly. This will be in addition to POA and is the sequal to POA. Dacrimara leads the charge on this one along with a few other DM's. Look for it shortly.
NeverWinter Nights 2...well, what can I say about it? While it is a fun game, I don't think anyone really has put much into it. I personally feel that Bioware should have done that game as they really were the ones who made a lot happen with the first one and really got the community involved in the first one. Atari really dropped the ball by letting Obsideon create this game. Today, I don't know what exactly our plans are for NWN2. I know Dacrimara has been working on a NWN2, but have fallen a little out of the loop on that. Look for more information in our NWN2 thread.
Ogame has also been one of the games some of us play on. WoZ is currently in 3 universes and we are kicking some major butt! We are currently in Universe 10, 25, and 33. I lead the alliance in Uni 10, Jdsii (Darth Johnny) leads our Uni 25 alliance, and Maikan (Nevets) leads the way in Uni 33. Come on in and join us in the fun. Each universe has their own objectives, but the main objective is to have fun!
Command and Conquer 3. We have a massive alliance of 2 players so far. Matthaeus and I are leading the way on this! We mostly beat on each other...well, Matthaeus usually beats on me...but it is a lot of fun. Feel free to drop in anytime as we are usually in Casual 2. It would be nice to get some more
Call of Duty 4 just came out and I have been hearing some really good things about this game. I personally don't play FPS game cuz I start to puke, but I know a lot of you out there do play them. If you are looking for a WoZ sponsored clan, let me know and I will setup a forums thread for you. This really goes with any game you wish to get WoZ to sponsor, we will sponsor it...just send me a PM or post up in the Games section of the forums.

Welcome to Wrath of Zero

"Welcome to the Wrath of Zero gaming community.
Wrath of Zero is a gaming community whose main focus lately has been on the game NeverWinter Nights. We are currently hosting the module Path of Ascension create by Ancient Warrior Tresspasser. We have modified the game to our liking and we are continuously updating the module to accommodate our higher level characters and to add more areas for our lower level characters. We currently have 3 developers on staff continuously updating the module.
Wrath of Zero was originally founded by Sgt Zero in the summer of 2003. Towards the end of 2005, Sgt Zero approached me saying he needed to pursue other interests and asked me if I would be interested in hosting the game and website. The rest is history.
As Wrath of Zero evolves and grows, we strive to make the gaming community a fun place. We are planning for the future and plan to stay around for quite some time. Please take the time to check out our website. We have a great arcade, FAQ's, and a highly used forums section. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to post them up in the forums sections. You can also send a private message (PM) through the forums to any one of our site moderators.
